Eric Barnhurst, D.D.S.

Dr. Eric Barnhurst grew up in Southern Colorado. He has been working at Colorado West Endodontics for the past ten years. He graduated from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry. He then attended a general practice residency program at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Denver. Following that residency he completed an endodontic residency program at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Barnhurst worked as an associate in a specialty office in Philadelphia before returning to Colorado to continue his career.

Dr. Barnhurst is a member in good standing of:

  • The American Association of Endodontics
  • The American Dental Association
  • The Colorado Dental Association

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, Megan, and their three children.


Christopher Beus, D.M.D.

Dr. Chris Beus completed his undergraduate education at BYU majoring in Neuroscience. He went on to receive his DMD degree from Harvard University in 2007. Upon completion of his doctoral training, he joined a private dental practice in Boston and was a pre-clinical instructor for the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Beus received his endodontic certificate at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine.
Chris, his wife Darcy, and their two sons are excited to come to Minnesota to be near family and friends. In his spare time he enjoys being outdoors, traveling and spending time with his family.

Paul Hilfer, D.D.S.

Dr. Paul Hilfer was born and raised in Minnesota but fell in love with Colorado while completing his Bachelor's at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs.  After graduating from the University Of Minnesota School Of Dentistry, Dr. Hilfer completed a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency.  Following assignments in Illinois, Korea, and Germany, Dr. Hilfer completed his endodontic training at LSU/Keesler Medical Center.  Dr. Hilfer was chief of Endodontics at Aviano Air Force Base in Italy and served as an Endodontic department chair at one of the Air Force's largest AEGD programs.

Dr. Hilfer is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and has multiple publications in the Journal of Endodontics.  

Now back in Colorado, Dr. Hilfer is looking forward to skiing, snowboarding, and playing and watching hockey with his wife Julia, and two daughters, Vivian and Clara. He is a member in good standing of:
